I'm going to try to enjoy my kids more, I feel like a lot of time I let Jeremy's responsibilities get in the way of me doing things with the kids, although being really pregnant now doesn't help that! Especially since Cooper will start all day pre-k at Newkirk next year, I want to soak up the time we or I have with him at home. Although he's in desperate need of school!

I still remember the Christmas that my parents surprised my youngest sister with a Kirsten doll. She wanted it, and put it on her list even though she knew we couldn't afford it.
We had both read all of the books- I remember when I read the first Kirsten book and I cried like a baby when her friend died. I was in 5th grade, so I think I thought I was a little to old for the dolls at that point, but my sister was not.
It was the last gift opened on Christmas morning. She had gotten a pin with a picture of Kirsten on it, in her stocking. My mother told her that was her Kirsten when she saw it. We had the (giant) video camera running, and when she opened it, she sobbed. The funniest thing is watching my twin sister hug her while she cries, and making these hysterical faces at the camera. We still watch it on video at Christmas, sometimes.

Yep, I know exactly what you are talking about! Except for I don't currently have an iPhone. I just have the cheapest phone AT&T offers and I used to have an iTouch. But that was before I dropped it in the toilet... twice. The first time it forgave me, but not so much the second time. I had hoped to get my iPhone5 in June when they normally come out, but I have had to wait what seems like an eternity!

Oh, goodness. I'm stressing out about Jacey starting an hour-a-week speech class; I can't imagine what I'll be like in a couple of years. I'm sure Cason will love it! And you'll have extra time to get stuff done, right? I have attempted potty training kids at both ends of the spectrum. Hannah was completely potty trained (well daytime anyway) at 18 mos. With Mark we started sitting on the potty 13 mos ago. He'll be 3 in October and we're still not there. I have tried proven tactics, pleaded, yelled, cried, pulled my hair out, given up, tried again, even resigned myself to cleaning out poop underwear (a gag-inducing task every time). I used to be smug about Hannah's success, like I had anything to do with it!
