I took the kids to the park today.
And there was a lady there with two little adorable boys. But one of the boys had the most unfortunate name I have ever heard*. And the mom kept saying it in an annoying voice over and over again, making it even worse. It was like hearing a tiger run his claws down a chalkboard.
She said his name so many times that my kids started saying it, thinking it was funny.
It wasn't.
Moral to the story: Even if you really like a name, if it makes other people wince in pain, maybe you want rethink it.
*I'm not telling you what it is because it's very distinctive and if I tell you, I just know someone will say, "Oh, yeah, that's my cousin's kid."

I'll bet it was Beavis.
My cousin has a name like that. His mom had this incredibly annoying voice and she'd call him over and draw out the vowel in the middle of his name until you wanted to slap her.
I can't tell you his name because we both know a child with that name.

Drew made a new friend named Beckett. Only he got confused and kept telling us about a boy named "Decko" we believed him for a few days because there are so many stupid names out there!
Well you've certainly given me something to think about, it's going to drive me crazy trying to figure out what it is though :)
My sis-in-law Aubrie met the same person at her garage sale. I know the name......
I am dying to know the name!
