Alternative title: Toys.
Alternative title 2: Things we have a lot of.
True story: When I quit my job to stay at home with Cason, I was worried he would never have enough clothes and toys. I honestly thought that we would have to spend a lot of time at other people's homes just for him to play with some toys...because there was NO WAY we would be able to afford to buy him a toy EVER.
I know. Laugh at me.
When he got a little older, and started collecting *a few* toy cars, etc. this is what I bought to keep them in:
I know. More laughter ensuing on your part.
So now that the kid is almost 4, he has a nice little collection going:
And this only includes what was within arm's reach. Trust me...he has many more. Including the crown jewel of his collection, the jeep that stays in the garage. And cars must have a track to drive on and trains must have a railroad to ride. I think we have enough track to pave the bridge to nowhere. I'll give bonus points to you if you can tell me how many Lightening McQueens are in the above picture.
Cason begged me to take a picture with his collection. I had to tell him to say poop to get him to smile.

Seven. Eight if you count the picture on Mac. If you find out where all the toys come from, tell me because I need to write them a nasty letter about what they've done to my living room.
Hmm I only count 6. But the real question- did you line them up that way or did he?
Very cute! We are the same way about cars. Really, it's only fun to play with a whole collection of them!
I can count at least 20 cars we have in common!
I had a similar storage box, it was about the size of a shoe box. Now we have three bins!
Hm, I'm counting 9 assuming that blue one is the "Dinoco" McQueen. Do I win??? Do I WIN???? What I really want to know is WHERE did you find the Mack truck for Rusteeze??? I've been searching HIGH and LOW for that stupid truck and it has alluded me at every turn. Targets in the entire DFW area do not have it left. Mattel makes on supposedly sold at Toys'r'Us but I'm not sure it's the same size as the Target ones (we have 3-18 wheelers but not the red one - the IMPORTANT one...) Sheesh, I never thought I'd be envious of a toy a 2 year old has. :)
Yes, the Cars thing is big at Gramma's house. Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Just think how many cars we have since I have 2 boys...there is just something about cars that is fun
