I have a blog?
Seriously?
No, you lie.
Oh, wait! I DO have a blog!
I'm back! And I plan on devoting more time to my little bloggy blog from now on.
So I'm going to talk about scary clowns. Wait! Come back! Yes, I am one of those people who is scared of clowns. You may not be. You may think they are lovable child's play things who make balloon animals and pile into cars at the circus. I happen to think they are blood sucking fiends who eat children in sewers. I mean, have you seen It?
I'm about to make a confession. Mom, go get a piece of fruit and meet us on the other side of this paragraph. Kthnxbye! I was obviously not allowed to watch It. Duh. Like who would let their kid watch that? But when it came out, and was on TV, I watched it. I was in either 5th or 6th grade. I was going to IMDB it (or It) but I can't even do that for fear that Pennywise will jump out of the computer and eat me. When I watched it, I had to sneak around my parents. And I watched it while I was on the phone with my best friend (Hi Ashley!) who was at her house down the street watching it. So now I'm scared of clowns.
And then at some point in my life, I saw Poltergeist which just reinforced my fear of clowns.
So you can imagine my horror when driving home today, I saw this:
In case you can't tell, that's a scary clown. I was apparently not filled with enough horror to race home and not stop and take a picture.
Way to keep it classy, Oklahoma.

That is sick, wrong, and hilarious all at the same time. I too watched IT at that time in my life - nightmares to this day.
1. I hate clowns
2. I have a worse case scenario game that I play with clowns... I will explain it to you at one of the many basketball games
3. My fear came when I had to stay at a ladies house for a weekend and she collected clowns.... who freak'n collects clowns?? When I got homesick she wouldn't let me go home and I would cry at night in room covered in clowns.
Is that a devil cow in the garden? And why did they make the clown so tall? I find clowns more weird than scary...at least I know what to be to scare Amy.
HA! I saw this house the other day. I was a bit disturbed.
I was FORCED to watch it. My Dad got some sick pleasure out of scaring me with IT while he watched and I have never been the same since. I don't even want to go to the circus.
So wrong! I was once doing photos of a B&B in Guthrie and one of the rooms was a clown room. Can you imagine checking in for a nice romantic getaway, and you get the clown room?
Bailey used to say she was deathly afraid of clowns and then I read that is was a real phobia and caused from bad mothering! I felt awful about it and she finally told me she was kidding about being afraid of them - but she was probably just trying to make me feel better about my mothering skills! We have a clown bank that my mother in law gave one of the girls. They like to hide in each others drawers and closets when they get the chance to scare the living daylights out of each other.
