Do you ever have one of those blogs that you enjoy reading and then the person doesn't post for a while and you're all, "Why aren't you posting? I know you've been stuff this week. POST!!" And then you think, "Well, fine, then. I just will quit reading!" But really, inside, you really want them to post?
So sorry about the lack of post-age. I know my mom is quite upset about it.
Here is my week:
Sunday: Oldest Child starts throwing up. I do not get to leave the house all day.
Monday: Oldest Child seems better so we do some light shopping then lunch. That afternoon, vomit commences again followed by a 5 hour nap and high fever. Colin and I get in a fight about a)the amount of medicine Oldest Child needs and b) the odds of whether or not Oldest Child has swine flu.
Tuesday: Youngest Child goes to school, Oldest Child gets to go to the doctor. After a strep test, and a flu test (which caused a massive nosebleed and also almost resulted in him getting a FLU SHOT instead of a FLU TEST; nurse blames dr's handwriting, dr blames silly nurse) we are told it's "just a virus!" Ok, can I have my copay back?
Wednesday: I do not get to leave the house all day with Oldest Child. Most of the day is spent with me saying to Oldest Child, "Geez, it's a just a virus! Get over yourself so we can enter into the land of the living for heavens sake!"
Thursday: We had been out in the "land of the living" for about 20 minutes when I get a call from the doctor. Oldest Child does, in fact, have strep throat. And in her words, "it's a pretty contagious strand of it!" Did I mention he's AT PRESCHOOL?
Friday: I didn't leave the house all day.
I mean, I'm blogging on a Friday night. Jealous? I was so sick of Oldest Child that I sent him to Sears with his dad to get him out of my hair. He was wearing a t-shirt that was two sizes too small and church dress pants. Ask me if I even care. Hopefully they'll bring back chocolate. I wouldn't bet on it though.

I am SO glad you are back! Great post!
I'm am so glad you're back and you just said you sent your oldest to Sears wearing a tiny shirt and dress pants. That made me laugh.
Your Dr. office sounds like they need to get it together! Hope Cason is feeling better and you can get out among the living.
I have been wondering where you were. I might have some choice words for that doctor's office.
Frist Kendall, now Cason. OK--who's next for a trip to the Doctor?
HAHAHAHA Did you get the chocolate? Oh yeah, and I'm not laughing AT you...just in general because you are funny. No hard feelings. Peace.
Amen to your Tuesday! That's what happened to us at the beginning of Jacey's UTI, and now, multiple doctors appointments and urine tests later, here we are waiting to go get an ultrasound on her kidneys. Just a virus my foot! (PS if you read my blog or follow my facebook updates sorry to belabor the point. Since that's just about all I talk about anymore. It's been a hard few weeks.)

Umm wow awesome. Kidding. I was worried about you, and I'm happy to hear everyone is feeling better. It sounds like you have had a couple rough days, go eat some chocolate and watch TV. :)
