Ok, so I didn't get those ebay shoes for Kendall. It wasn't so much that I didn't get them as it was that someone else did. I kept hoping that that someone read my blog and decided to buy them and send them to me. But so far....no.
So I was at Old Navy today and saw the cutest outfit ever (pictured above). Ok, maybe not the cutest ever. But cute. And of course, I bought it. But then immediately started regretting it. Why? Well, it was $15 a piece. That's $45 for the math impaired. Incidentally, the ensemble was much cheaper online. Which irks me. I am irked (bonus points if you can name that movie). But whatever, I would have to pay for shipping. And by buying the outfit I have like no money left for the rest of the month. Booo.
But it's so dang cute, y'all.
So, here's the dealio. You get to vote on whether or not I keep it or return it. And Liz, you can't vote to keep it and hope that Anna gets it. If I keep it, I will be consigning this sucker. In addition to voting, please leave me comments with your opinion. I, like Obama, cannot make a decision without polling my public.

Since the top is on sale for $10 and the shoes for $8, get them online and get the pants instore. You don't have a vote-thingy for that. :)
Since I've been banned from voting on the poll thingy, I'll put my opinion here because well, I'm a giver. Keep it. It's way cute. And I have to live vicariously through you.
And for what it's worth, there ain't no way Anna's gonna make it to another sleeveless shirt season wearing anything with the number 12 on it. Consign away.
I can't get the poll to work. I would have bought it, regretted it, and taken it back. But that's just me. And it is really cute.
But it might be like $1.00 in two weeks. Old Navy is weird like that.

If it is on sale online will they give you money back if you go in? I'd go ask them and if they didn't give you the same price, take it back and like Gena said, buy it when its on sale, but I am the tight-wad in our family!

But this is not a normal month. This month is CANTON. Take it back and tuck that pretty little $45 in your Canton fund. You'll probably buy something for Kendall in Canton, so it's no like you're denying her a present.
$45 is A LOT for one outfit. But what am I saying? I have a boy that grows 3 sizes every week so every outfit he has only lasts one or two wearings. For $45, Kendall better get at least a summer's worth of wearing out of it!
Take it back. Mama needs a new pair of shoes. (though I wouldn't recommend buying shoes in Canton)
I like the idea of taking it back to see if you can get a refund, since it's on sale. Wouldn't hurt.

The pole wasn't working, so I will have to vote here. I know this will be shocking, but I vote to take it back. I am in agreement with Jessica. There is the girls weekend coming up and you may find something better there. It is so very cute, but too early in the month to be "done."

ALWAYS go to Old Navy armed with Coupons. It resets on friday so I try to print them first thing in the morning. I would return the whole outfit, then pull out your coupons and buy the shirt and shoes with the coupon.
But that's my two cents.
Take it back, go to Ross, find something adorable for $7.00. That's my answer to everything.
Hey, all you girls and guys out there: I am totally impressed with how y'all have learned to work the system! Another way you can look at it, Emily---You got two dresses for Kendall from Old Navy for $5 apiece in March. This outfit for $45 just evens it out, right?
If it goes on sale in the next two weeks, they will do a price adjustment. They do markdowns on Wednesdays. My vote? Keep it, it is too cute. My mom got the same outfit for my sister's little girl. I love it. Wish they made it in my size.
