1. It is now appropriate to wear a bed sheet to a formal event. Ask Jessica Biel.

2. Mickey Rourke's hair looks shockingly like mine in the morning.

3. Celebrities like to think they are really important when they are not. Especially the actresses. And Sean Penn.

4. SJP actually thinks she is Carrie Bradshaw now. Because surely SJP knows better than to show up in an ill-fitting Barbie wedding gown.

That's right. I said it. Eat it up.

5. Jimmy Kimmel and Tom Cruise make an oddly hilarious duo.

6. Note to Beyonce: You would have been better served by showing up in your 'Single Ladies' leotard than that mess you were wearing.

7. Brad Pitt gets better looking with age. If that is possible.

8. My husband has a crush on Angie Jolie. Sidenote: At first when I saw her last night, I was all -meh. But now, I must say, Girlfriend looked good.

9. When the Academy Awards are on one channel and an Outrageous Home Videos show is on another channel, ALWAYS pick the home videos show.

10. I have never really noticed before, but Hugh Jackman is pretty hawt.

Watched some of the pre-show but hubby was always flipping back to NASCAR, go figure.

Hope everyone is feeling better.

SJP--hello left boob!

Hugh Jackman...never noticed before either but I love him. He's hawt and adorable. I wanted to pinch his cheeks...loved his enthusiasm.

Brad Pitt...never gets unhawt.

Angie/Jen drama...cameras need to stop showing the other when one is on-screen! Awkward.

I hate Sean Penn. I totally called "accepting my award and needing to make a political statement" deal. I think Obama chose him to win the award just for his political speech. But I ask you: WHO CARES ABOUT SEAN PENN? No one, that's who.

Comment is long...I think I'll e-mail you the rest.

I'm not going to lie--I liked SJP's dress. Judge, judge, judge...and I think Jennifer Aniston won the dress showdown--she looked fab!

Where have you BEEN!? Obviously, not to see the movie"Australia"...Hugh Jackman has "it".

Yes, the whole Sean Penn pro-homo agenda really got my back up. Wouldn't you just LOVE to have HIM as your poster child?? EECKK!! (plus, he has Madonna cooties remember)

I didn't tune in till they were doing the Best Acress thing and had to go online to find out who had won what. TOTALLY forgot it was on till I called a friend at 9:30. Not that I'm a habitual watcher or anything - it's just "happened" to be on the TV that happened to be on the past, oh, 5 decades...

And Slumdog Millionaire (which, in the movie, sounded like "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLINAR?" which made me wonder if making hats was an East Indian dream or something) sweeping the awards was great! I've seen it but need to take Mike to see it. Hard to watch in places but worth seeing! Note - not a "warm fuzzy" movie.

Great Oscar night assessment. Although nothing about Kate Winslet's win?? I loved how she asked her dad to whistle or something cause she didn't know where he was!

I agree with all, but especially #10!

Ha! Laughed reading this post and then again through the comments!!!

Glad you liked Our Hugh (Aussies feel personally responsible for any expat makin' it big OS!). He is, as you say, HAWT. *giggles*

I also "happened" to be watching (at least all my ironing got done as it was during the early afternoon here Down Under). I think Angelina is gorgeous but too thin (have a steak, love! And stop wearing black please) Brad is definitely better with age, Jen is adorable and very styish, and as for Sean... well, for someone who hates the Oscars, he sure takes advantage of the chance for a spiel!

Great fun though - just like this post! (Sorry to write an essay!)
