Question:

How can you be sure that you've passed your love of all things chocolate down to your daughter?

Answer:
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

This is how we found her Saturday morning, eating a cookie that she had found:

"What, guys?"

"Seriously, what, y'all?"

"Just let me eat my cookie in peace."

I don't know anyone else that can get so messy eating a cookie. Ok, maybe one other person:

So the lesson here is: If your kids are being really, REALLY quiet, don't think they're being good. Think they're up to something.

I find it "poetic justice" that she is wearing that nice pink sleeper accessorized with chocolate accents. Pink and brown ARE the newest thing, you know!

When Marilyn came to visit once in London, she had Hershey's in her suitcase which Shelby found on one of our days out. And ever since then, we've had to keep any food well away from her - they say that once they hunt and "smell blood" (chocolate in this case), they are ruined for life.

Such is the way of women.

For those readers who READ comments, Shelby is a dog, not my daughter...and yes, she is a chocoholic (which can be deadly to dogs but Shelby has always "rallied" after an episode of binging...)

Van was about that age when he started bullying older kids at daycare to get their Oreos. He knew that animal crackers just wouldn't cut it!

Haha...I have to eat really quietly so my husband won't catch me. I get in big trouble if he does. Wait--I mean eat CHOCOLATE...he does allow me to eat.

She looks SO cute, with her hair in her eyes. I think it's totally normal to eat a cookie in the morning.

Dude, let her eat the cookie in peace. Seriously, it's COOKIES we're talking about here. You have obviously set her on the right path, now ler her find her own way.

Gosh I love cookies. Would I eat one I randomly found on the ground or in the couch cushions? Depends on the cookie...Kendall rocks.
