Yesterday, I just had Kendall with me. I walked out to my car, and put Kendall in her car seat. I got in the driver's seat and turned the car on and began to pull out. I then realized I had put Kendall in Cason's car seat. His blue plaid, forward facing, upright sitting car seat.

I need sleep.

elaborate...I don't know what that is.

Totally sounds like something I would do.

I have done that too Emily, don't feel bad. I have also forgoten to strap Ethan in his seat. Luckily when we start to pull away he will let me know I forgot. I need to come up with a great story as to why I am losing my mind!

You are not alone, I do dumb stuff all the time, way worse than that!

That's close to me putting the turkey in a cabinet with foil/plastic bags. Last night I almost put the milk on TOP of the fridge instead of in it...I can't wait to see (when I have one) where my baby's going to end up.

Be sure and have friends/family sign affidavits RIGHT NOW that this is the way you are so they don't pin an Alzheimer's rap on you later in years. :) That's what I did!

If it makes you feel any better, I want to the Ben Franklin Store in Bay City when Jen was itty bitty - and LEFT her in her crib! Shoot, I'd never gone shopping with a baby before! I remembered almost as I got to the store and prayed I didn't have a wreck on the way home.

It's all sensory overload coupled with a complete energy deficit. It's the life of a mother. I often felt like I was one tiny step ahead of disaster. (see aforementioned comment about the ER and Tim...)
