Well, Colin and I spent two and a half hours at the mall last night and bought zero presents. Neat. We still have ALOT to buy. I actually wrapped two presents today. I would have wrapped more but we have no gift boxes so we'll have to get some of those. You know, I saw on TV that the Spelling mansion has like 27 rooms including a gift wrapping room. The people on TV thought that was ridiculous but I think it's almost a necessity. I mean all my stuff is just sitting out right now and a gift wrapping room would make alot of sense. Hmmm...I guess I'll have to wait until after we build our indoor bowling alley.
We had a great thanksgiving and, of course, I took not one picture. But we still had a great time. There were alot of people staying at my parents house but I think that is what made it fun. Colin and I brought our nanny (or manny) , Aaron with us and he was a great help.
Well, Oklahoma, hunker down! Gary England says 5-10 inches of snow tonight. I would also like to give a shout out to Susan and Amber...I'm so glad ya'll are readers! Also, Michael, Cason does listen to NPR on occasion. He like anything where he thinks someone is talking to him!

Well, Cason is NOT crawling yet. Forwards anyway. He can crawl backwards, but what good does that do? He also rocks on all fours but that's been going on for about a month. Yesterday I asked him why he's not crawling yet and he said that he's been really struggling lately because I am putting alot of pressure on him. He also said that he puts too much pressure on himself because some of his friends are crawling and he isn't. I'm glad that we were able to have that talk.
We are leaving to go to Houston tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I think it's going to be quite a zoo because there are going to be so many people there (including dogs and babies). It's going to be really fun though. I can't wait. Hopefully, I'll take pictures to post.
Here's a book NOT to read: How Smart is Your Baby? by Glenn and Janet Doman. It will only make you think that your baby is mentally retarded because he or she wasn't reading Shel Silverstein poems outloud the week you brought them home from the hospital.

I changed the look of my blog. I thought my old one was slightly ghettoish and I like this one better. So, it's been good having Colin home more. If for no other reason than to engage in the occasional witty banter with someone. I did put him to work though. He built a new tv stand for our flat screen. The picture doesn't really do it justice though. The only drawback is that now you will need to contact NASA in order to operate our TV. It really is that complicated. We have six different remotes now. One is for the TV, one is for chaning channels, one is for volume, and that doesn't even count if we want to watch a video or DVD. For some reason, it wasn't this complicated when it was in our bedroom....
In other news, everyday when Cason eats lunch, I turn on the radio and we listen to Rush Limbaugh while I feed him. Today, I put Cason in his high chair and I said, "Are you ready to listen to Rush?" and he laughed really loud and started beating his tray. Future republican? I think so...I think so.
Aren't they cute?

Faith Hill freaking out on TV, Brittney Spears and Kevin Federline getting a divorce and Donald Rumsfeld resigning.......aren't those the three signs of the Apocolypse?
P.S. I voted and it did no good...I think I'm disinfranchised.

There are some (mom) who didn't not like the fact that Cason and Sunny were in the bath together. I thought it was funny. They're our two kids. She really likes him for some reason. He's already begun torturing her by grabbing her constantly in uncomfortable places like her ear and lip. I guess the payoff for Sunny is free snacks when Cason drops his rice cake or bagel on the ground. Chewed up mushy rice cake. Yum.

So Cason had a pretty good first Halloween. His peapod costume was quite the hit, even if he didn't like it all that much. Here is an itenerary of this last weekend:
Friday night: Party at the Dacus house where Cason played with is friends Haley and Cooper and showed off his costume.
Saturday night: Trunk or Treat at Eastside Church of Christ (where Colin's parents go)
Sunday night: Fall Festival at Edmond Church of Christ
Monday: Cason was diagnosed with strep throat. It is very rare for a child this young to get it but Cason defied the odds and came down with a case.
Tuesday: Cason pooped on his halloween pajamas and we passed out candy to the masses.
